Darkon Warriors

Book 5

Space Opera, Science Fiction Romance, Steamy Romance

A race on the edge of extinction. The women who can save them. And an enemy determined to destroy them all. The story continues in another full-length romantic space adventure about one sexy spy, a soldier searching for salvation and an unlikely mission to save the world.

BLURB: Reece Matthews, contortionist bubble dancer and part-time spy, has one goal – a safe haven and independent life far from the war. But her plans go awry and her future becomes dangerously uncertain when she is falsely accused of the murders of her friend and a Darkon traitor. Now she wants payback.

In her way is Ulrac, a banished Darkon patroller responsible for incarcerating females for barbaric ‘treatments’ and ‘research’ on the planet Isla. He’s determined to use the capture of the spy and her intel to win the approval of his father – a hard-line Traditionalist with his own agenda – and help him overthrow the new ruler of Darkos.

But the war of the Seven Galaxies has reached a critical stage, and personal plans and goals suddenly hold very little meaning. The enemy is poised to unleash a terrible weapon, and no one stands between him and total domination of all the universes.

No one – except Reece and Ulrac.

***
Set in my fictional Seven Galaxies, this space opera/science fiction romance series follows the adventures of a group of colonists from Earth when they are plunged into the middle of an intergalactic war. The stories encompass political intrigue, vengeful enemies, suspense, action, and hot and steamy romance.

Sultry, Steamy Sci-Fi Romance. This was the first book I have read by S. E. Gilchrist, and I have to say that I enjoyed it very much. It has been a while since I have read a Sci-Fi Romance and I had forgotten just how much I enjoy this genre. The author does a phenomenal job in world building and her characters are very well developed. Although this book is 5th in the series, I was able to read it just fine as a standalone, though now that I am hooked, I will be purchasing the first 4…

A great steamy read. I Loved, Loved, Loved this story! It is packed full of sexual tension that is, for the most part, pretty believable in this world. You can read this as a stand alone book from the series because the writer gives enough world building and plenty of background info. The nice thing is that the heroine, Reece, is a strong woman that isn't whiny or too irritatingly dumb (which are in many sci-fi romance novels). And the hero, Ulrac, is super sexy...just how I like my hero's to be! I couldn't put the book down.
